Every phase of First Impressions™ carries a defined duration. A newborn phase spans ninety days. A toddler phase spans two years. An adolescent phase runs five. Inside each of those durations, the Legacy edition provides one instrument unavailable in any other edition: a complete, week-by-week playbook covering every session from the first day of the phase to the last.
The caregiver enrolled in Legacy enters each week with a structured session already in place. The developmental sequence has been organized in advance. The routine, the progression, and the observational framework are all established before the phase begins. The primary remaining task is to follow it.
This page presents all ten playbooks across the First Impressions™ continuum. Each is a distinct scholarly instrument. Each is named, sequenced, and built around the specific cognitive window it is designed to serve.
A playbook is not a collection of activities. Each session within a playbook is positioned within a progressive arc. Early weeks establish the foundation. Middle weeks advance the complexity. Final weeks consolidate what the phase addressed. The caregiver moves through this arc without needing to independently assess, plan, or determine what follows.
The playbook is exclusive to the Legacy edition. It is absent from Origin and Prestige. Those editions provide a governing framework and structured guidance for the phase. Only Legacy provides the complete, week-resolved curriculum spanning the phase’s full duration.
Each playbook also carries a proprietary name and a governing framework specific to the phase it serves. Each one reflects the developmental research associated with its particular window and the cognitive work the child engages in during that phase.
The caregiver does not determine what comes next. The playbook does. Each session is sequenced within the developmental logic of the phase before enrollment begins.
The playbook removes the need for improvisation across days, weeks, and months. The guide’s task is to arrive at each session with presence and intention. The structure is already there.

90 days, structured week by week
In the first weeks of life, the visual cortex is constructing itself. The quality of visual engagement the caregiver provides during this period has direct relevance to how early attentional pathways stabilize.
The Perceptual Genesis Playbook™ guides the caregiver through ninety days of structured visual engagement. It transforms daily caregiving moments into deliberate perceptual sessions with a defined sequence and a clear developmental purpose.
The playbook opens with foundational gaze work. Sessions advance through contrast response, visual pursuit, and pattern differentiation. Middle weeks develop tracking capacity and sustained attention across motion. Later weeks address expanding perceptual range and the strengthening of re-fixation. The closing days introduce social attention.

90 days, structured week by week
Between three and six months, color perception follows a biological sequence. Red-sensitive cone cells mature before those that process blue and green. The caregiver who understands this sequence can organize the child’s chromatic environment around it.

180 days, structured across six arcs
Between six and twelve months, language acquisition depends not simply on hearing words but on encountering words within shared attentional focus between caregiver and child. The quality of that shared attention is the primary variable.

Between twelve and eighteen months, words are no longer simply heard. They are applied to scenes, actions, emotions, and the living movement of daily life. The word inside a scene encodes differently than the word in a void.

Each system addresses a genuinely different aspect of how language is delivered, received, and internalized. 2 years, structured across three progressive windows
Between one and three years, the ability to use a word to summon an absent object, to assign a number to a group, to sort by a shared attribute: these capacities emerge within a narrow developmental band and are shaped directly by the quality of symbolic engagement the child receives.
The Quantisense™ Discovery Playbook guides the caregiver through two full years organized across three windows: Symbol Recognition, Symbol Reasoning, and Symbol Abstraction. The first window establishes foundational recognition. The second advances into how things relate. The third develops representational logic, concept integration, and conceptual autonomy.

2 years, structured across two developmental movements
Between three and five years, the region of the brain governing executive function enters an accelerated period of development. The child begins to distinguish coincidence from consequence. They start to notice when their own reasoning contains a gap.
The ReasonCraft™ Analytical Playbook guides the caregiver through two years across two genuinely different reasoning modes. Year One is organized around Applied Reflective Reasoning, grounded in sensory-based prediction and cross-context inference. Year Two governs Abstract Reflective Logic and Meta-Reasoning, moving the child away from the observable and into the conceptual.

Reading does not begin on a page. It begins in the ear. The child who arrives at formal literacy instruction with a well-organized phonological system has a fundamentally different cognitive resource available to them.

From thirteen years onward, the intellectual habits forming here are substantially shaped in this window. How a young person weighs competing obligations, traces consequence through complex systems, holds a position under genuine counter-evidence: these capacities take their most durable form now.
The Ethosynthesis™ Master Playbook guides the mentor through five years across five named cognitive identities: Ethical Self-Definition, Relational Ethics, Cultural and Systemic Ethics, Applied Ethics in Civics and Technology, and Foresight Ethics and Moral Leadership.
